I have a hunch that trendy vintage is on it’s way out. At least for cutting edge Flower Allie brides. I find once you start seeing a certain look on every blog in town it’s pretty much over. I am thinking retro is coming next. Funky shapes and graphics, so still nostalgic and from times past just not quite so far back.I am so not ready to leave the world of vintage styling so I am excited to keep looking for ways to incorporate things from times past.
I also have a feeling that for that certain sentimental bride vintage will live on and be way more special and a unique expression of who they are than the mass trend we have experienced this year. So for those who love turn of the century vintage here is a beautiful tablescape that stylist (and owner of probably the nicest vintage home in all of Orange County) Michelle Gregory and I came up with. The greatest thing about this type of a look is that your table is such a personal expression of you and your family and no one can ever duplicate it. This picture was taken in front of Michelle’s garage. The pictures came right off of the walls from inside her home and the antiques in the tablescape were either passed down to her or purchased by her family over the years.
