What do you think? I wanted to wait and here your opinion on my colors before I make a decision…what do you think? I like roses and I like orchids but they won’t go together right… what do you think? what do you think ? what do you think? what do you think? Not a consultation goes by that I am not asked what my opinion is a million times. My opinion is it is your wedding, go with your heart, your own unique style, and don’t be afraid to do the unexpected. Jennifer started out with a great and not so common color combo: coral and purple and I added in the hints of green. Then about a month before the wedding I got a call. She had found her shoes. She wanted to bring them in to show me. On the phone she thought she may need to change the bridal bouquet or maybe take back the shoes? Well bring um’ in I will tell what I think!
I already knew Jennifer had a great sense of style and wasn’t afraid to think out side the box. I looked at the shoes and thought to myself “Easy peasy lemon squeasy” (my 5 year old son’s favorite saying). I got up from my desk walked around the corner, grabeed an orchid plant off the shelf, walked back into my office and set it on the desk next to the shoes and our bouquet was born.
So what do I think as I start this wonderful week of meeting 10 new brides…Bring it on! Bring me all your thoughts and ideas even if they don’t go together or make sense and lets create a great wedding together that just shouts from the roof tops “this is me, this is my style, this is who we are”.

The fluffy purpley fuchsiay flower below is stock. It is a very under used flower in bridal florals right now and it is a great, textural and very cost effective filler. Here; orchids from Thailand, garden roses brought down from the San Francisco flower mart, peach callas imported from Holland and a little purple lisianthus ans stock brought in on our daily delivery from the flower fields of San Diego. So expensive flower, expensive flower, expensive flower plus cheap flower plus cheap flower plus 3.00 broach from downtown LA = great 60.00 bouquet..jpg "20101017-web-6944-2")
